A coffee table that embodies the application of an architectonic stereotype to a furniture piece. Quattropietre represents the so-called “golden ratio” of classic architecture tradition, in a mathematical equilibrium of proportions. The volumes creating the shift between material and absence of material, give life to prospectic compositions, playing with “full” and “empty”. The creative process is thus born out of reduction, and its last trace lives on into the final element, timeless and always current. Quattropietre applies a rigorous, essential design to the materiality of elements.
